20130220-155818.jpgAlthough visiting with community is a top priority for us, we do occasionally get to trek off the beaten path to see some of the wonders of this amazing world we live in.

Zion National Park is no exception. Located in Southwest Utah, it’s a breath taking part of the country and we highly recommend a visit. The park holds huge canyons, rock faces, and emerald pools.

Zion is a bit smaller than other parks we’ve been to, including the vast and beautiful Grand Canyon. Because of that, it offered a feeling of accomplishment as we wove our way through. Had we a longer stay we could have investigated more throughly but for a day trip Zion was a good choice.
